White Badam Halwa

Badam halwa has special place in all Indian homes… Its mine fav too… Perfect Indian dessert

Ingredients

  1. 2 tbsp ghee
  2. 100 gm suji
  3. 2 tbsp almond paste
  4. 1/2 cup milk
  5. as required Finely chopped cashew nuts and almond
  6. 1 tsp elachi powder
  7. as needed Water
  8. 100 gms sugar

Steps

  1. Take a thick bottom pan.. Heat ghee in it

  2. Now add suji… Roast it on low flame

  3. Once it gets roasted add almond paste…don’t make it brown

  4. Also add chopped nuts.. Roast it for 2 mins more

  5. Now gradually add water, sugar and milk… Also add elachi powder.. Cover it and cook for 5 mins on very low heat… Till it leaves oil..

  6. Garnish it with chopped nuts… Serve hot
