“PALAK KATORI STUFFED URAD DAL”
INGREDIENTS
FOR PURI
1 bunch palak cleaned, washed
1 bowl wheat flour,
4 tsp semolina,
5 tsp gram flour,
2 tsp ginger, garlic paste,
4 green chilies paste,
1 tsp oil + for frying
Salt
Pinch of ajjwain
Pinch of hing
FOR DAL
1 bowl white urad dal soaked for 1/2 hour
2 Onion’s finely chopped,
1 inch ginger finely chopped,
8/10 garlic cloves minced,
2 green chilies finely chopped,
2 tomatoes washed, finely chopped,
Salt as per taste,
1 tsp red chilly powder,
Turmeric powder,
1 tsp gram masala powder,
Handful of coriander leave’s washed n chopped,
Oil
METHOD
1- Mix all ingredients of dough except oil for frying, make a soft dough, cover and keep aside for 10 min
2- Now make ball’s and it in katori
3- Keep oil on pan to heat
4- Add these katori in oil to deep fry them
5- Remove on absorbent paper to remove excess oil
6- Meanwhile in other pan add oil,cumin
7- When it crackles add ginger garlic paste and saute till it changes color
8- Add Onion’s n saute till translucent
9- Add tomatoes saute little
10-Add dry masala and little water so it gets mix nicely
11-Saute till it leave’s oil
12- Add urad dal n little water so it gets cooked properly
13-Cover and cook, stir occasionally in between
14-When dal is soft n start leaving oil
Means done
15-Now assemble them and garnish with onions, cucumber n coriander leave’s n sever hot
