Kaju katli


4 person
500 gm broken kaju
400 gms sugar
200 ml water
1 teaspoon elachi powder
2 tablespoon ghee
As needed Silver vark
Take a thick bottom pan add sugar and water
Allow it to cook on medium flame till we get thick one string sugar syrup
Grind kaju in coarse powder.. Don’t make fine paste
Add kaju powder in sugar syrup
Stir continuously on low flame..till it thickens
Add elachi powder and ghee at this stage
Switch off the flame and allow it to cool
Once it cool.. Make it adough by greasing your hands.. Roll it on butter paper with rolling pin
Once rolled… Cut it in diamond shape pieces..
Decorate it with silver work (optional)
