Ekadashi chilla with rasa aloo

This is traditional sindhi recipe.. We make it on ekadashi.. Its complete fasting food

Ingredients

  1. 250 gm singara flour
  2. 2 potatoes cut in cubes
  3. to taste Salt
  4. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  5. as needed Water
  6. 1 tbsp Oil
  7. 1 slit green chilli
  8. 1 tsp tamarind paste
  9. 2 tbsp Singara atta slurry

Steps

  1. For chilla: mix singara flour with water adjust flowing consistency like dosa batter

  2. Add salt and pepper to taste

  3. On a non-stick tawa.. Spread this ladle full of batter… Roast both sides well till crisp

  4. For aloo rasa:Take 1 tbsp oil in pan.. Heat it well

  5. Add cut potatoes.. Fry well till half done.. Add slit green chilli

  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.. Add water to make rasa

  7. Prepare singara atta slurry and add in rasa to make it thick

  8. Finely add little tamarind paste..

  9. Aloo rasa is ready.. Serve hot with chilla and chilled curd
