Dahi vada

Ingredients

 4 persons
  1. 1/2 cup urad daal
  2. 1/2 cup moong dal
  3. 1 small piece of ginger
  4. 1 green chilli
  5. 1 tbsp jeera
  6. 500 gms curd
  7. 1 tbsp jeera powder
  8. 1/2 boondi salted
  9. as required Some pomegranate
  10. as required Green coriander leaves for garnish
  11. salt to taste Some black salt and white
  12. as per need Oil for frying

Steps

  1. Soak both the. Daals for at least 2 hrs

  2. After soaking…add daal into mixer jar…add ginger, green chilli and jeera

  3. Also add salt

  4. Make a course paste… remove and beat it for at least 15minutes or till it is light and fluffy

  5. Heat oil..add daal mixture in the form of balls..fry till crisp

  6. Cool it for some time and than soak these Wadas in water for 30 minutes

  7. Beat curd…add salt,some black salt… put Wadas in curd..garnish it with jeera powder, boondi, pomegranate seeds and coriander leaves.

  8. Serve chilled
