  1. 250 gms colacasia
  2. 1 tsp salt
  3. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  4. 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  5. 1 1/2 tsp Sambhar masala
  6. 2 tbsp thick curd
  7. 4-5 garlic leaves crushed
  8. 1 tsp sesame seeds
  9. For Garnish :
  10. 1 tbsp mixed bell peppers
  11. 1 tbsp chopped onion
  12. some lemon wedges and curry leaves


  1. Wash colacasia well, boil in pressure cooker for 2 whistles.

  2. Discard skin and then wash it again to remove stickiness.

3.Let it pat dry on a towel for some time.

       4. Now cut colacasia into small equal pieces.
        5. Now add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Sambhar masala, garlic leaves and curd and mix everything very gently and smoothly.
       6. Allow colacasia to marinate for half an hour with curd and spices.
       7. Meanwhile grease the baked dish and preheat the oven at 160 c for 5 minutes.

       8. Now pour this marinated colacasia into a greasy baked dish and allow it to bake for 20 minutes at the same temperature.
      9. After 20 minutes tilt the colacasia so that it’s perfectly baked on all sides in a hot oven.
      10. Now take out this Yummylicious baked colacasia into our serving platter and garnish with lemon wedges, bell peppers, onions and curry leaves.
      11. Enjoy this crispy tangy delicious baked colacasia with curd dip.
